Global Tender Barges Pte Ltd was incorporated in September 2007. The company’s main focus is tender barges operations in Asia Pacific and Africa and aims to be the preferred partner in supplying first class tender drilling rigs for the global energy industry.

With the ambition of being a key player of tender barge business, Global Tender Barges Pte Ltd is well established in Singapore, with key personnel in place. Considering the main market for tender barges operations being South East Asia, Singapore represents an ideal location. The company also has branches/subsidiaries in Indonesia and Brunei.

Global Tender Barges Pte Ltd is 90% owned by Norwegian public listed company Global Geo Services ASA and Abbot Group being the remaining 10% shareholder.

To cope with our aggressive growth and expansion plan, we are inviting high calibre individuals to join our fast growth team:

Responsibilities:
• General Ledger Accounting – Responsible for all daily AP, AR, Revenue, and Expense transactions including monthly closing process, and related account reconciliations
• Preparing invoices to our clients and conducting payments on behalf of company
• Participating in various job duties/responsibilities and special projects as directed by management or determined on own initiative.

Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, knowledge in Navision will be added advantage
• Only Singaporeans need to apply

Other Information:
• Working days: 5
• Working location: Science Park I
• Possibility of conversion to a permanent position, depending on individual’s work performance and management requirements

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Accountant and needs to exercise independent thinking, judgment, initiative in day to day activities and develop creative ideas in review, redesign and administration of accounting processes.

Salary will commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
