Handling the full sets of books up to final accounts stage and closing of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts on time.
Day to day financial transactions, including payroll, cash and tax-exempt receipts, Accounts Payable and Receivable, expense reimbursement and bank reconciliations, preparation of financial & management reporting, cashflow reports, forecasts, assist in yearly budgeting, system implementation for new accounting software, providing financial information for grant writing and grant reporting, assist in audits and tax preparation and the preparation of Board reports.
Minimum 5 years experience handling full set of books, preferably in non-profit industry
Experience working in computerized accounting and Microsoft Excel
Able to learn new skills quickly and to maintain current documentation for all financial procedures essential.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including good proficiency in spoken and written English
Proficiency in Chinese or Malay is an asset
Honest, trustworthy and reliable
Is able to work independently but can contribute to an excellent team dynamic
Permanent Part Time (Minimum work 3 days/week)
