Responsibilities:
Physical work in Exams Halls:
- Setting up and arranging exam hallsduring the pre-exam period
- Transporting answer booklets and shifting furniture and objects
- Preparing halls for every exam session
- Clearing halls after each exam session
- Daily opening and closing of halls
- Attending to ad-hoc cases as and when the need arises in the exam halls
- Briefing Chief Invigilators for each exam session (Degree holders)
- Ensuring readiness of halls for conduct of examinations (Degree holders)
General admin work in the Office:
- Packing
- Collating question papers
- Checking or sorting documents
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Apart from the general requirements, exams temp staff should not be current students in NUS/SMU/SUTD.
- Must not be a prospective student to NTU (coming in to study)
- Must not have any relatives/ siblings studying in NTU
- Diploma holders and degree holders/undergraduates in private institutions are preferred
- Candidates should not be a potential/current student of NTU
- Candidates should not have any relatives/siblings studying in NTU
- Candidates should not have any criminal records and are not undergoing any police investigations
Working hours:
- Pre-exam period : 8.30 am to 5.45 pm (Mon-Thu) , 8.30 am to 5.15 pm (Fri)
- Examination period : 7.45 am to 9.00 pm (Mon -Fri)
- Lunch : 45 minutes (staggered, depending of examination timing)
- Must be able to work on Fridays (with no prayer breaks)
- Must be able to commit to work throughout the whole stipulated period (including Saturday) for about 3 weeks
- Exam periods are as follows:
- Semester 1 exam period : mid-Nov to early Dec;
- Semester 2 exam period : mid-Apr to early May
Salary ranges and requirements:
$5 to $8.50 per hour depends on experience
