Food Services Manager @ Google Singapore

Food Services is responsible for providing delicious, eye-appealing and nutritious food. You will be managing the quality of all food and beverages in various outlet’s within an office environment and responsible for management and planning of purchasing and vendor relations.

You are responsible for overall administrative and operational functions of the Goopitiam. In addition ,you are required to demonstrate a proven ability to deliver best in class, value driven workplace solutions, which can support a unique company culture.

Job Responsibilities :
Cultivate a collaborative, friendly and fun work environment that fosters innovation and productivity in support a unique corporate culture
Support in the oversight of the local or home site customers point of contact including contract and statement of work compliance, food service daily and catered events operations.
Facilitate communication between the on-site team and customer Support in the oversight and review of financials.
Manage coordination of new food service programs and initiatives and revise current program offerings as needed through partnership with teammates
Maintain communication between the company’s office team, customer and vendors through the creation and monitoring of internal email aliases, comment cards, project feedback, surveys, reports and meeting control.
Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality & service to ensure consistency
Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents in order to verify product quality and quantity
Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food in order to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner
Review menus and analyze recipes in order to determine labor and overhead costs
Review work procedures and operational problems in order to determine ways to improve service, performance, and/ or safety

Requirements
BA/BS degree preferred with high academic record.
At least 3years of previous work experience in Hotel Management or F&B related industry is required; previous customer service experience and/or interest in culinary arts and food services is a plus.
Fluency in both Mandarin & English required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to multi-task to work in a fast paced multicultural environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills when interacting with all levels and departments.
Strong financial acumen, ability to use all Excel functions, and general purchasing system or PO process knowledge a plus
