- Basic pay of $5 per hour
- Commission of $2 per book
- An extra hour’s basic pay if you come back on the same day to return stock
- Extra incentive of $20 if you sell 16 books in a session
- Flexible working hours (either weekdays 6pm to 9pm or weekends 10am to 1pm / 3pm to 6pm / 6pm - 9pm)
The job is about knocking on doors (in fact, you don’t even need to knock…the doors are always open) to convince people to purchase our books. We offer full money back refund, low price (less than $10 per book if they buy 8 books!) and a sales script. Due to our systematic approach, no household will be knocked twice.
The office is at Bukit Batok.
On average, a DSP earns $10 per hour. We have implemented the programme in 2010 before. Here’s an example of two DSPs who worked in 2010:
DSP 1 (Yuying, 15 years old, 6pm to 9pm)
Basic: $15 (3 hours)
Incentive: $5 (she came back at 9:15pm)
Commission: $12 (6 books)
Total: $32.00 for three hours of work
DSP 2 (Mandy, 15 years old, 6pm to 9pm)
Basic: $15 (3 hours)
Incentive: $5 (she came back at 9:15pm)
Commission: $20 (10 books)
Total: $40.00 for three hours of work
