Responsibilities:
The Job
Educate customers in proper animal care products and treatment
Interact with customers and recommend the right products and services for their animal companion's specific needs
Assist in the set-up of new product and service displays
Take down appointments for styling and spa sessions, boarding reservations, therapy sessions, workshops and maintain proper records of the schedules, such that other team members may readily understand and administer necessary actions accordingly
Assist Store Manager in ensuring all appointments on various schedules are adhered to
Man the reception area at appropriate times and dispense necessary SOP as and when required ie receive styling guests and arrange for appointed stylist to speak with client while beverage is served; receive boarding guests and arrange for boarding specialist to administer check-in procedure etc.
Duties and Responsibilities
Complete cash register transactions as well as customer carryout service
Assist in the loading, unloading and stocking of merchandise according to established procedures to help ensure that the store is well stocked and that inventory counts are accurate
Perform routine housekeeping tasks as required to maintain the professional image and appearance of the store
Requirements:
Sociable, friendly and loves to interact with people
Possess an aptitude for basic animal welfare and sales techniques
Pleasant Disposition and Personality
Excellent communicator
Minimum 'O' levels with 5 passes or equivalent
Proficient in mathematics and basic accounting
Able to move animals and merchandise weighing up to 25kg
