Webmaster and Social Media Marketeer (Project) Education and Outreach Division
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
* Webmaster, content editor and community manager for all Education and Outreach (EDO) websites.
* Work with appointed web agency to undertake:
o The revamp and consolidation of EDO websites (www.nhb.gov.sg/PE), (www.mystory.sg), (www.heritagecalendar.sg) into a new educational, resource-rich and community-driven website on Singapore’s heritage.
o The development and execution of the Singapore HeritageFest (SHF) 2009 website (www.heritagefest.org.sg).
* Plan and front EDO's social media campaigns and initiatives to engage bloggers, build an online community for EDO's activities, drive online visitorship to EDO websites, and raise awareness and participation in SHF 09 and its activities.
* Coordinate with EDO’s partners for all web-related matters.
* Monitor and drive web visitorship, page views and memberships.
* Develop and create simple web banners, EDMs, and other HTML based pages.
* Manage e-Services such as quizzes, polls & surveys.
* Collate and manage all online feedback and suggestions.
Requirements:
* Possess a Polytechnic Diploma/Degree in mass communications, web design, IT or equivalent qualification.
* At least two years’ experience in web/media management and Social Media marketing.
* Familiar with social media tools and platforms like blogs, podcasts, Facebook, Youtube, Flickr, Plurk, Jaiku, MySpace and others.
* Proficient in web design and authoring tools like Dreamweaver, Front Page, and Adobe Photoshop.
* Experience and knowledge in Internet design, development and maintenance using HTML, DHTML, CGI, XML, Javascript, PHP, ASP.NET.
* Able to multi-task and work under pressure.
* Able to work independently and yet is a good team player
* Possess analytical and problem solving skills, as well as good communication and writing skills
* Able to commit from January to September 2009.
