Double Negative is a leading provider of visual effects for film employing 800 people world-wide. Recent projects include Inception, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and we are currently in production on a number of films including Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows and John Carter of Mars.

We are looking for enthusiastic and capable individuals to join us in our expanding Singapore studio.

Key Purpose of the Job

Running is a foot in the door at Double Negative and a chance to train and develop your understanding of film and visual effects to eventually progress to other areas of the business. We are always looking for bright, motivated, enthusiastic Runners who have a passion to work within Visual Effects for Film.

Needs To Do

• Responsible for nightly food ordering service
• Dispatching and collecting items on request both in house and out of house; delivering post, faxes and other items to staff
• Taking initiative to manage stocks and supplies, arranging orders where necessary; ensuring refreshments, stationary, general office equipment and toilets are well stocked
• Keeping reception, rest areas and offices clean tidy and well presented - including hoovering and dusting
• Kitchen duties including washing and clearing plates, cups glasses, replacing water filters
• Reception duties - including dealing with switch board calls, welcoming clients, providing refreshments for meetings and clients, booking meeting rooms, cars and couriers
• Providing support to producers and managers, assisting producers with document presentation where necessary, including adding images to layout, laminating, binding, scanning, photocopying
• Occasionally assisting in editorial and studio duties
• Dealing with banking and dispatching of post
• Assisting the Office Administrator

Needs To Know

• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and Email
• A professional and friendly phone manner
• Previous knowledge or experience of CGI and Visual Effects for film would be useful
